Five promises for my Senior Pictures Boston

You live in the Boston area, and it’s time for your Senior Pictures, but you don’t know where to begin.  Trust me, you want to celebrate this special time in your life by documenting your senior year with a Boston senior pictures session! 

Maybe you think everyone has a phone that takes pretty good photos or maybe some of your friends are dabbling in photography so you might think they could just take your photo!  But the truth is not everyone with an iPhone or even a camera is a great photographer!  And you don’t want to entrust your senior photoshoot to just anyone with a nice camera….you want a professional senior portrait photographer!

Or maybe your school arranges yearbook photos for the Seniors.  Trust me (that is how my senior portraits were taken), these photos are NOT you.  They don’t reflect who you are, your accomplishments and what makes your unique journey yours.  

As a professional senior portrait photographer, I have years of experience capturing this special time in a teenager’s life. I have perfected my craft by developing an experience that allows me to get to know each one of my clients and give them a photoshoot that tells their unique story.

You have come so far and accomplished so much, and beautiful portraits that are unique to you are the perfect way to mark this milestone.  I want to get to know my seniors, chat with them on the phone, learn about what makes them tick.  Before I ever take a photo, I’ll provide wardrobe tips, we’ll discuss location options, and we’ll tailor the session just for you. I really believe in listening to my clients and that includes your ideas for photos, “poses” or anything else you want to share about your vision of your senior portraits.  

You will have fun.

Even the most confident models are nervous before a session.  It’s 100% normal.  BUT, I can not tell you how many times someone has been nervous when they arrived, and then told me at the end of the session that they really had fun! I love to chat with my clients, and often it will feel like we are just hanging out. Before you know it, we’ll have covered a lot of ground at our location, trying different backgrounds and light, and you will go home relieved and feeling like you had a great time.

I’ll make sure you know exactly what to do!

While many Boston seniors these days have the ability to curate picture perfect selfies,  But when it comes to being in front of someone else’s camera, they forget everything they know.  That’s where I promise to help.  I don’t want you to feel “posed” but I will give you prompts, assure you are in the most flattering light and give you little tips to make you look your very best.  Maybe you will even learn something so you can improve your IPhone selfie game!

You will have lots of options.

Even with my shorter mini sessions, you will be amazed at how many images you’ll find in your proof gallery. Even with only one outfit and one location, you will find different poses, facial expressions, and you’ll have plenty of options from which to choose the images in your package.  But if you want to level up, lets chat about a longer more customizable session.  

We’ll use a gorgeous location and the best light we can find.

I have a huge list of beautiful locations, and we’ll work together to find the one that suits your style and personality.  Sometimes I am inspired on my way to the hockey rink by a slice of light between buildings.  Maybe you love baseball and want to incorporate being under the lights to your session.  Golden hour is my jam and there are so many amazing locations in the Boston area we can explore together.
