Some of the reasons I love this city!
As a Boston photographer, I am constantly inspired by the families I have the privilege of working with. Each family is unique, and it is such a joy to capture their personalities and relationships through my lens.
One of the things I love most about being a family photographer in Boston is the city itself. With its rich history and beautiful architecture, there is no shortage of amazing locations for photo sessions. From the charming streets of Beacon Hill to the stunning views of the harbor, Boston offers a diverse range of backgrounds that add character and depth to family photos. Let’s explore together!!
But beyond just the location, it is the families themselves that truly make each session special. From the excitement of a new family just starting out, to the love and laughter of a family that has been together for years, every photoshoot is a chance to celebrate the unique bond between families.
1: Fan Pier, Seaport Boston
Back when I was at Boston University, the Seaport was not a place anyone ever visited. Now it’s full of life – amazing restaurants, museums, and lots of outdoor activities for everyone! Don’t snooze on the seaport; to me it has everything a location would ever need!
2: Boston Public Garden
Iconic. That is the Boston Public Garden. From the Make Way for Ducklings statues to the swan boats, this lush garden is a dream for any family session backdrop.
3: Charlestown/USS Constitution
Truth be told, in all my years living in the city (or in the burbs), I had NEVER been to Charlestown before. But I went this past fall and fell in love. To me, it was like a small community within the city and when I am ready for city living again (ahem after my kids graduate), Charlestown here I come!
4: Institute of Contemporary Art
5: Long Wharf, Columbus Park
SOOO many amazing options in this year for your session. Beautiful city in the back ground, greenery and the ocean! This area of the city makes for terrific couples sessions!!
6: The Streets and Parks of the city
I could go on and on about all the nooks and crannies of Boston. Walk a block and you will find something new. That is what I adore the most about exploring the city with my families, seniors & couples! Finding the next place! Do you want in on the adventure?
Ultimately, my hope is that the photos we create together will become cherished memories for families to look back on for years to come. Truly, it is an honor to play a small role in preserving these special moments for my clients.
