It’s that time of year again…the time where I sort through all of my sessions that I photographed In 2025 in the Greater Boston area and come up with some creative awards. Please know that I adore every single client and just because your session isn’t featured doesn’t mean that I don’t love your images! This blog would last the entire year if I posted all my favorites…
When you get the call to photograph a family with newborn twins & two older siblings, you know you are in for a bundle of fun! And this family did not disappoint! Having their babies right before the holidays was their best gift yet! Bonus, the cutest and most lovey doggy there could be…

You may have read one of my newsletters where I shared the story of a client whose son was dealing with some scary catatonia symptoms and spent many months at Boston Children’s Hospital. As I followed along with their amazing story, their brave journey towards healing and eventually their discharge, I knew I needed to reach out to capture this moment for them. This was a highlight session for me to capture the pure joy of being a family together.

Tongues out, giggles, smiles, looks of love….and maybe even some dinosaur roars!! From the kids to the parents, this family nailed their entire session even with dad who could barely walk with his boot!

My last Senior of the year and the most golden of the light. November sessions may be a little chilly but the light is unreal. The leaves of trees have fallen and the light can come through without the green filtering – all the beautiful golden light!

I can’t lie, I LOVE a good wide angle shot that shows of the location that we have chosen. Sometimes its for the epic skies, sometimes for the gorgeous flowers. Maybe its to show off the movement of my clients or an epic sunset! Being inspired by the scenery around is just another way to take your session from good to GREAT!

As a boy mama, I know the joys of boys. The running, tickles, the jumping, the occasional tears. We chased and laughed and tickled and chased some more. I don’t think any of us stopped moving for the entire session (even when they were seated!) and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

When it comes to siblings, the most adorable ones are the ones that interact. Sometimes it’s running, sometimes it’s cuddling, and let’s be honest, sometimes it’s fighting!

My opinion: Sunday mornings in October in the city are the perfect time for a session. It’s quiet and we can really explore without all the hassles that come with shooting in downtown Boston. Because there were less people, we were able to hit so many of the gorgeous spots around the Public Gardens without overworking my AI removal tools! 🙂

As the ones behind the camera most of the times, I intentionally make sure I get some sweet mama moments during my sessions. and each of these mom moments did not disappoint!

If you have been following me for a while, you know I am not a prop photographer. But if you or your kiddo wants to dress up at the end of their session, bring a guitar to their senior session, or toss around a football as part of their family session, I am HERE for it! I love capturing who YOU are in this moment. Happy clients photograph better and we all need more happiness and less rules in our lives!

When the cutest little lady shows up in knee socks, my photographer & fashionista heart swoons. I mean, can you think of a cuter outfit?!?!

When you are at a castle for your senior session, it truly is a dream come true. I have wanted to do a senior session at Bancroft for quite some time and this one certainly did not disappoint. The drama, the light rays, the history all wrapped up in one beautiful location.

When clients book my Complete session, I do a dance. Like for real, to me, these sessions bring out a seniors real style, personality and by the end of the session, they are so comfortable with me that the photos are so naturally them.

In the dead of winter, we can all dream of the day when the blooms begin and the colors pop. The beauty of the colors really can make any session pop. Here’s to more blooms this spring and families and seniors willing to explore them with me!

Curls + Humidity + Adorable Lil lady = the perfect hair for this lavender farm session.

When you casually ask your client at the end of your very first senior session, hey, want to jump in the ocean and they respond with a HECK YES, its music to my ears. 2026, I hope you bring more adventure!

From the softball fields, to the pitch (that’s what they call it in England right??) and our own American version of football and everything in between, I love capturing athletes in their moments. Doing what they love and the passion that they have for the sports that they play.

Getting a lead from a painter was a dream come true. The colors, the art, the gorgeous lines. Watching a creative in their element was magical, seeing art come to life right in front of my eyes. Sometimes people call me an artist, but truly Chrstine IS art.

…and that’s a wrap on 2025! Thank you to all my amazing clients. I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store and I hope you will come along for the ride!
kindly, sara
